Leaving behind Sydney, they brought with them a vision to introduce cutting-edge small bar culture to Far North Queensland, where they saw a gap in the local market. Thus, the Wolf Pack was born.

With a wealth of hospitality experience, the duo established The Hospo Group, a collection of award-winning watering holes that garnered acclaim in the region. However, their true passion project was unveiled in 2019 – Wolf Lane Distillery. This distillery was their gateway to elevating the cocktail scene across Far North Queensland.

At Wolf Lane Distillery, the magic lies in crafting captivating spirits infused with the distinct flavors of their beloved paradise. Embracing the spirit of community, Barber and Kennis collaborated with local small farms, family-run plantations, and artisan roasters to source the finest tropical fruits, rainforest botanicals, single origin coffee, and vanilla beans. Winston Quinn Gin is a charming craft gin company based in Brisbane, Australia. Megan Donsky, the head distiller, is the proud owner and operator, and she named the company after her beloved golden retrievers, Winston and Quinn. This has been an incredible journey driven by passion and dedication to create an exceptional line of gins. The signature range consists of five exquisite gins, along with a limited release and our first ready-to-drink option. We take great pride in each and every one of our creations. We meticulously select a wide variety of botanicals and fresh ingredients to produce wonderfully aromatic gins with natural colors and exceptional balance. Decades earlier, a love for rum was sown during a Navy career, accompanied by a shared passion for sailing. In late 2020, founders Matt and Karen found themselves in their favorite bar in Singapore, contemplating their next venture.
