2020 Distillery, located in Cooroy on the Sunshine Coast hinterland, specializes in crafting high-end spirits with a back-to-basics approach. Their East London Dry Gin features a simple yet authentic blend of seven botanicals, reminiscent of the original London Dry gins from the 1800s. Similarly, their single malt whisky is created using traditional Scottish methods, mashed and distilled in a classic copper pot still. John had always harbored the dream of having his own distillery, which led both him and Debra to the picturesque coastal Town of 1770 / Agnes Water in Queensland. Their dream became a reality after they developed a passion for distilling while living in Tasmania. During their time there, John and Debra honed their distilling skills under the guidance of Bill and Lyn Lark from the Lark Distillery.
