In 2016, Steve Dorman and Toby Kline from The Hills Cider Company teamed up with Sacha to take 78 Degrees Distillery to the next level. Their goal was to broaden the product range and improve production capabilities.

By December 2018, 78 Degrees Distillery had found a new home. They now share a space with Mismatch Brewing Co, The Hills Cider Company, Vinteloper & Ashton Valley Fresh at the Lot 100 site. This state-of-the-art location incorporates a distillery, restaurant, and plenty of room for expansion and utilizing the surrounding land.

As 78 Degrees Distillery continues to explore, conduct research, and incorporate uniquely Australian botanicals, their product lineup has grown to include an exciting variety of gins, vermouths, aperitifs, and Australian Whiskey. Each still boasts an impressive capacity of approximately 7,500 liters, a testament to the craftsmanship of the past. Over the years, these venerable vessels have undergone their fair share of hard work, running repairs, and relocations, resulting in a cherished patina that exudes a sense of history and character.
